You will surely miss an important tourist attraction if you don’t visit the Singapore Zoo. Apart from the children, it has lots to offer to its adult tourists. Previously, this zoo was known as Zoological Gardens of Singapore. The zoo is also known as Mandai Zoo. Established on 23 June, 1973, it is a home to 315 wildlife species. The zoo is famous for being the world’s biggest home to the endangered species of orangutans.

Major attractions and Shows of Singapore Zoo

Animal Show: The animal show consists of three presentations, namely:

  • Elephants at Work and Play
  • Splash Safari

Show of Orangutans: The show primarily highlights the endangered species of Sumatran Orangutan. The show amuses you by the comical and human-like activities of the orangutans.

Tiger Trek: You can enjoy the behavior and activities of White tiger in this show. 

Wild Africa As the name suggests, the show highlights the behavior of the wild animals found in Africa. Here, you can find animals like:

  • Banded Mongoose
  • White Rhinoceros
  • African hunting dog

Cat Country: This show takes the tourists through the wild world of the cats and animals of this category. The animals shown here primarily consist of:
