Slowly with the passage of time oatmeal was replaced by flour. Eggs and butter were added for good binding of the pudding. The variation of plum pudding is the Christmas cake. ‘plum’ is a misnomer before the cake and so dry fruits are added to the cakes.

The Taj Residency offers coffee flavored Cappuccino Cake and exclusive log shaped Chocolate Yule Cake topped with small marzipan mushrooms.
